Man ser ju hur olika potentater och maktmänniskor aktivt har sina favoritlag och håller dem nära hjärtat. Det sades att den framlidna Drottning Elizabeth II var Arsenal-fan, men hennes tronarvinge Prins William har hon inte fått med sig, då han håller på Aston Villa. Storbritanniens Premiärminister Keir Starmer håller på Arsenal i alla fall. Han har årskort och i en diskussion om racism tillsammans med bland annat Newcastles f.d målvakt Shaka Hislop så beskrev han på sitt sätt hur Arsenals säsong har varit.
Keir Starmer sade ""There is no hiding, coming second again was frustrating, been there, done that.But I have to say this team this year have been fantastic."
Premiärminstern menade att Real Madrid-matchen var helt enastående, magknipsbra och gav en idé om hur bra det kan vara, men att de behöver "a little extra". Bäst i laget? Det varierar, menade han. "Saka obviously quite often when he plays, quite rightly, but if you go through the team, Declan Rice towards the end of the season had some fantastic games against Real, so that shows me it is a team and not just one or two players."
Han fortsätter med att säga hur Artéta fått ihop laget bra, men att det behövs något för att fullständiggöra laget. "I think one or two extra players, I would not go for widespread change, a striker. That is the one that leaps put and it has been for a little while now.
"It looks like we are shoring up midfield, so that is good and the back four is pretty good, perhaps a little bit more strength because of injuries, but it is that up front striker role we need. We need to add there."
Keir Starmer pratade dock inte bara Arsenal utan racism inom sport och "Show Racism a red Card"- som Hislop driver- är ett föredöme. "You can see all the people behind us, Show Racism the Red Card is now so well established, everybody knows what it stands for and I do remember going to football back in the day when it was a real issue.And I am pleased to say a lot of that has changed - not all of that, but a lot has changed and so it has really brought about a big shift in thinking, but that battle never goes away."
Inte så dumt ändå att ha en PM i landet som så hårt går in för Arsenal. Trevligt.
