Uppgifter: Hockey-VM ställs in

Det har länge spekulerats i att hockey-VM inte skulle kunna genomföras på grund av Corona-viruset – och nu uppger The Hockey News och AP att mästerskapet ställs in. Ett officiellt beslut väntas komma inom några dagar enligt The Hockey News. AP säger att beslutet kommer meddelas inom några timmar. 

IIHF själva förnekar rapporterna och meddelar att något beslut ännu inte är taget.  
 
VM ska spelas i Schweiz den 8-24 maj.

Contrary to media reports, the 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship has not been cancelled. There has been no change in the status of the tournament at this time.
