Houston Dynamo, som ligger och skrapar i botten av Eastern Conference, fortsätter att förstärka laget. Bara häromdagen anslöt det amerikanska landslagets vänsterback DaMarcus Beasley och nu är ytterligare en VM-spelare klar. Den 23-årige innermittfältaren Luis Garrido, som har gjort 22 A-landskamper för Honduras varav två nu i VM, lånas in från Olimpia i hemlandet. Det här blir Garridos andra sejour utanför Honduras. Förra året spelade han tio matcher på lån i Röda Stjärnan i serbiska ligan. Garrido blir honduran nummer tre i Houston efter Alexander López och Óscar Boniek García, även de mittfältare.
Houstons tränare Dominic Kinnear säger att Garrido "... has a good amount of bite in the middle of the field, good energy and is a good pASSEr of the ball. We have watched him for a few years in the CONCACAF Champions League and World Cup qualifiers, and he showed well in the World Cup". Hur långt lånet är har inte meddelats av Houston.
