Evans ber om ursäkt
Stuart Holden, som desvärre åkta på en otäck skada i lördags efter en ganska ful tackling av Jonny Evans, "twittrar" att Evans ringt honom och bett om ursäkt, och att han inte tror att Evans medvetet ville skada honom. "Just had a sincere phone call from Jonny Evans wishing me the best in my recovery, def wasn't intentional, just unfortunate part of the game"

Reserverna vann med 2-1 borta mot Newcastle. Gabriel Obertan gjorde bägge målen. Michael Richardson reducerade för Newcastle i matchens sista minuter, men närmare än så kom inte Skatorna.
Supertalangen Ravel Morrison blev utvisad för reserverna i matchen mot Newcastle, efter en incident med James Perch, som också han såg rött.
