Aye up duck,

Obviously disappointed not to hold on to the win but the important thing was that we didn't lose to a relegation rival. The failure to get that second goal cost us at the end. Still like I say it’s important that Newcastle didn't take away 3 valuable points with them.

I must also say that it was another tremendous effort from the supporters. Stoke fans have really stepped up to the mark this season.

Before the game I was a little worried that "The Shearer" factor could of gone in Newcastle’s favour but overall I thought that they were pretty poor and Stoke more than deserved the win.

The same goes for Saturdays match with Blackburn. A win would be fantastic but it’s also important that we don't lose.
