Pablo Mari klar för Arsenal

Pablo Mari alltså. Det ringde ingen klocka i mitt huvud när det börjades ryktas ordentligt om denna herre för drygt en vecka sedan. Idag blev han hur som helst offciellt presenterad av Arsenal som tar in honom på lån och med möjlighet att köpa honom i sommar. 

Han är uppväxt i Spanien och spenderade några år i Manchester City där han enbart var utlånad innan han flyttade till Sydamerika och gjorde succé i Flamengo.  

Eftersom jag själv inte vet eller visste vem detta var så låter vi Edu få beskriva honom ytterligare: 

“Pablo is an experienced player who will provide us with additional defensive quality. We have been monitoring Pablo’s career for a while and we are very pleased to have reached agreement with Flamengo for him to join us initially until the end of our season. Together with Mikel and his coaching team, we are all looking forward to seeing Pablo in an Arsenal shirt.”

Det tycks onekligen vara en vinnartyp, vilket vi sannerligen behöver mer av:

Pablo Marí is the only Spanish player to win the Copa Libertadores.
